Superior imaging, precise registration. 600 x 1200 dpi, 180 lpi resolution and offset-quality imaging give you sharp, crisp documents -- and Advanced Active Registration technology means that once you adjust for paper stock, front-to-back registration accuracy is virtually perfect.

Full-bleed printing. You can print full-bleed 11" x 17" documents with image area to within 1 mm on all sides of each sheet -- great for graphics,diagrams, maps and halftones

World's highest paper capacity. Up to 13,800 sheets -- which means a fully loaded bizhub PRO 1600P can keep running through almost 4 hours of unattended printing.

Universal paper drawers. The bizhub PRO 1600P can be configured with up to three 4,800-sheet Paper Input Modules, each with 4 universal trays that accept paper sizes from 8" x 8" up to 12.6" x 19.2" and weights from 50- 300 g/m2. Also: tray linking, automatic size detection, and multi-sheet detection.

Full-production paper-handling features. The bizhub PRO 1600P gives you the unique ability to print two-sided tabs, performs image registration on the fly (sheet does not stop), lets you print on the join" with endless OPC, and allows you to refill toner and paper trays without interrupting printruns.

Exclusive Paper Logic system. To take the guesswork out of paper orientation, just load pre-printed stationery into any paper drawer the way you want it printed -- and for pre-punched media and media with tabs, the bizhub PRO 1600P saves valuable setup time by automatically detecting paper size and orientation.

Easy handling of pre-printed sheets. Pre-printed materials can be loaded in any tray and guided along an extra paper path that bypasses the imaging and fusing section -- no need for a separate interposer station.

Roll-feed paper input. An optional Lasermax Roll System (replacing one of three possible Paper Input Modules) consists of an unwind, cutter and sheet transport to give you 60,000 letter-sized sheet capacity from a single roll.

High-capacity stacker option. You can add up to three 6,000-sheet stacker units to your system -- each with 3,000-sheet lift table, 3,000-sheet eject table, unload-while-printing capability, job separation, mixed media sizes, standard face-down delivery (face-up available via print driver control), and integrated DFD interface for attaching optional finishing units.

Intuitive touch-screen operation. "Keep it Green" is the easy way to schedule jobs, assign trays, load-ahead to manage paper supplies more effectively -- with green-yellow-red color indications that alert youto the need for operator assistance.

Environment-friendly design. Save energy and protect the environment while you work -- with no toner waste, virtually no ozone emission, low noise level, no fuser oil or developer, and low fusing temperature that reduces power consumption.

Smart Imager. A powerful, high-performance image control option that gives you not only full control of all available print functions, but also system control and print engine firmware control. Supports Adobe PostScript 3, Adobe PDF 1.5, PCL5e, with plug-and-play connectivity for Xerox DigiPath/Freeflow interface.

On-screen job management. A user-friendly interface provides clear, simple Job Tab menus for layout, paper, special pages, tabs, finishing options and image control. The unique Scheduler Tab enables the operator toplan an entire shift’s input and output requirements.

Print-while-RIP capability. RIPping begins as soon as the job is fully received; you can assigned jobs as "waiting" or "scheduled" withscheduled jobs having RIP priority.

Finishing options that get the job done. Optional finisher with 100-sheet stapling (1 or 2 staples), 4,200-sheet capacity, offset stacking and 500-sheet multi-format output tray; also high-capacity 25-sheet and 50-sheet booklet-makers.

Powerful software. Software options include PostScript, PCL, DP-Link (Xerox RDO file conversion), eNDPS (Novell Gateway connection), E-shredding (complete HDD erase), Streaming (RIP-while-Print for large jobs), and Print Makeready, Print Console and DP-Convert software for advanced job handling capabilities.
